Prof. Yunsong Liu is the Head of the Department of Prosthodontics at the School and Hospital of Stomatology of Peking University. He obtained his D.D.S. (2003) and Ph.D. (2008) from Peking University School of Stomatology. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry from 2009 to 2011. Prof. Liu is engaged in clinical and basic research related to prosthodontics and has published more than 70 articles in professional journals such as Bioactive Materials, Nano Today, Small and Biomaterials. He has obtained 25 invention patents and 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects. He was selected for the top 2% of global scientists list (2023). Prof. Liu has received the Beijing Science and Technology Award twice (2015 and 2017), the AADR Hatton Award (2011), and the First Prize for Outstanding Postdoctoral Research of UCLA (2011). He was rated as the “Top Ten Outstanding Young Doctors in the Capital City of China” (2017) and “Outstanding Young Doctors of Peking University” (2021). Prof. Liu is a member of the IADR (International Association for Dental Research), ITI (International Team for Implantology), and ICP (International College of Prosthodontists).
