Dr. Yi Man is a Professor and the Head of Oral Implantology Department, Director of Education and Research Department of Oral Implantology Department, and a Postgraduate Supervisor at West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University. He is a Vice Chairman of the Committee of Implantology of Chinese Stomatological Association, Chairman of Chinese Society of Digital Dental Industry, President of National Osteology Group/China, and President-elect of ITI (International Team for Implantology) China. He is also the Chairman of Special Committee of Sichuan Province Oral Implantology, a Member of Editorial Reviewer Board of Implant Dentistry, and a Fellow of ICD (International College of Dentists) and ITI.

Dr. Man was mentored by Prof. Ping Gong and received his Ph.D. degree in Stomatology from West China School of Stomatology in 2007. In 2010, he was awarded “ITI Scholar”. During 2010-2012, he worked at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (Boston, USA) as a Clinical Instructor. He was also a research scholar at Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard University (Massachusetts, USA) during 2011-2012. Since August 2019, he has been an instructor of oral implantology for postgraduate courses in Academic Center for Dentistry at Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NL). Through the summary of his own clinical practice, he has modified and proposed several modified implantology surgical techniques as well as prosthodontic techniques, and these techniques have been published in over 80 papers in international implantology, surgical, and prosthodontic journals.
