Dr. Yiqun Wu received his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and began his professional career in the early 1990s as an oral surgeon. In the late 1990s, he began performing implant-related clinical practice in the Department of Oral Implantology. Dr. Wu has retained a full-time position at College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University for more than 20 years and is currently a Professor and the Department Head of the Second Dental Clinic, Ninth People’s Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is Vice Chairman of the Society of Oral Implantology of the Chinese Stomatological Association, Chair of the ITI (International Team for Implantology) China, ITI Fellow, ITI Study Club Director and Chair of ITI Scholarship Center Shanghai.

Dr. Wu has accumulated extensive experience in the comprehensive treatment of patients with severe jaw atrophy. He is involved in research related to bong grafting techniques and tissue engineering of bone substitute materials. His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and presented at global conferences.
